Carterton Daffodil Festival Tour
Day One – Friday, 11th September 2026
Arrive in Greytown, wander the shops and have dinner at Aperitif Wine Bar.
Day Two – Saturday, 12th September 2026
Start your guided tour with a visit to Cobblestone Early Settler Museum and have a tasting at Schoc Chocolates. Then have lunch at The Village Café & Bar in Martinborough and wander around shops.
Enjoy your afternoon being taken out to Ngawi, the Fur Seal Colony and Cape Palliser for breathtaking, panoramic views of the coast. Have dinner at Greytown Hotel's 1860 restaurant.
Day Three – Sunday, 13th September 2026
Start the Carterton Daffodil Festival with the heritage train excursion to Masterton, return to Carterton by shuttle for the vibrant street markets and take the free shuttle buses to pick daffodils at Middle Run Farm.
On your way back you will visit Stonehenge Aotearoa, one of the largest astronomical installations in New Zealand. It’s an open-sky observatory inspired by and built on a similar scale to the famous Stonehenge in England. The henge is a modern adaptation, inspired by the many stone circles and henges scattered around the world. Dinner will be at Simplicity.
Day Four – Monday, 14th September 2026
Take a walking tour around Greytown to learn the history of the building. And stop at The Offering for morning tea. You will be taken to Castlepoint, a small beachside settlement on the Wairarapa coast. It is home to a lighthouse that stands near the northern end of a reef. You will enjoy a picnic lunch with the spectacular views.
Then you will visit the Pūkaha National Wildlife Centre to see birds, kiwi, and eels, enjoy a bush walk, and have refreshments at Kākā Café. Conservation in action! Then finish the afternoon with a visit to Schoc Chocolates for a tasting. Dinner will be at The White Swan.

Inclusions
All transport from Greytown. Entrance fees. Lunches and dinners with one beverage (wine, beer, juice or soft drink) included and additional drink purchases after that (except Carterton Daffodil Festival as there will be food trucks/stalls). Accommodation is queen bed, share twin/queen or king and 2 singles (trio).
Exclusions
Travel from home as the tour is Greytown to Greytown. Please enquire for group travel to Greytown.
